Week 3 Wrap-Up

Week 3 of the 2025 WCSLA regular season had 4 matches.

Reigning champion Pioneers hosted Coquitlam Thursday night at Ladner Leisure Centre and remained perfect on the season with a come from behind 9-7 victory. Ladner trailed 7-4 after 40 minutes but railed off 5 unanswered goals in the third period to take the W. Coady Adamson (4G, 3A) led the attack with Matt Hills stopping 33 of 40 shots faced.

Friday night at Harry Jerome Rec Centre, the Indians (1-3) welcomed the Timbermen, with the visitors registering an 11-5 win. The match was close heading into the final frame but Nanaimo pulled away with 4 unanswered goals for its 3rd win. Andrew Miller (3G, 2A) led scoring.

Saturday afternoon, Naniamo (3-2) travelled south to Ladner (4-0) and dropped a 10-5 decision to the host Pioneers. Ladner fired 71 shots at the T-men net and were led in scoring by Adamson  (3G, 4A). Alex Buque stopped 40 of 45 shots for his 3rd win in 2025.

Sunday afternoon, the Shamrocks (4-1) knocked off the Bandits (2-4) 13-10 at The Q Centre. Victoria overcame an early 3-1 deficit and and never trailed the rest of the way. OneniotekÓ:Wa Maracle (3G, 2A) and Nolan Morrision (2G, 3A) led the attack, with Darian Claxton and Colin Jeffrey combining to stop 29 of 39 shots.

After three weeks of play, Victoria's Rylee Marsh leads with 28 points and 25 assists, with Victoria's Jackson Boyd leading with 15 goals. North Shore's Connor Nichols leads in save percentage (0.897) and goals against average (3.72).
