Shamrocks Advance to Final

The Victoria Shamrocks came back from a 3 goal deficit midway through the second period to defeat the Nanaimo Timbermen 8-5 in Game 3 of the best-of-five semifinal at The Q Centre Thursday night, sweeping the series. Brodie Wade (2G,1A), Davis McCulley (1G,2A) and Jackson Boyd (1G,2A) led scoring with Colin Jeffrey stopping 34 of 39 shots in net.

The Shamrocks advance to the best-of-three League Final to face the Ladner Pioneers who swept the North Shore Indians 3-0 in their semifinal.

The final gets underway Saturday August 10 with Victoria hosting Ladner at The Q Centre with Game 2 the following afternoon at the Ladner Leisure Centre. Both games face-off at 3:00pm.
