Shamrocks News

After 3 seasons of service to the Victoria Sr. B Shamrocks and a tremendous amount of time behind the scenes, the Sr. B Shamrocks announce that head coach Tim Dennett and assistant coaches Darren Blackwell, Leigh Bissenden and Dean Sutton have resigned from their positions with the club.

Tim has recently retired and will be enjoying time with family, as well as extra curricular activities such as fishing and golf. Darren has taken a coaching position with minor lacrosse; Leigh is spending time with family and renovations and Dean will be coaching with the Victoria Shamrocks Women's team.

"I'd like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Tim, Darren, Leigh and Dean and their families for the years of commitment they have given to the Sr. B Shamrocks organization in a variety of roles," said Shamrocks President Mike Petrie. "Making a commitment to this club and organization as they've done is enormous and often thankless but we wish to acknowledge the tremendous effort they put in; they'll always be part of the Shamrock family."

Tim has been a player with Payless and the Shamrocks in the organizations' earlier days as well as a coach with the Victoria B1 Shamrocks prior to taking on the role of Head Coach of the Sr. B's.
