WCSLA Playoffs Underway

The 2023 West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association Playoffs kicked off Saturday evening in Victoria with the Shamrocks knocking off the Timbermen 12-7 in the best-of-five semi-final. The Rocks never trailed in the game, with Tyler Mace leading scorers with 2 goals and 4 assists and Colin Jeffrey stopping 28 of 35 shots. Game 2 is set for Wednesday night in Nanaimo.

The best-of-three quarter-final series to see who moves on to the second semi-final to face the Ladner Pioneers got underway Monday night when the Indians defeated the Salmonbellies 11-5 in North Shore. Steven Neufeld (2G, 5A) led the attack with Connor Nichols turning aside 39 of 44 shots. Game 2 goes Wednesday evening in New Westminster.
