Week 6 Results

The Ladner Pioneers extended their win streak with a pair of victories in Week 6. Thursday night at home, the Pioneers took out the Nanaimo Timbermen 24-4, with James Rahe leading the attack with 8 points (2G, 6A) and Dean Fairfall and Phil Caputo each getting four goals.

Friday night in North Shore, the high powered Pioneers defeated the Indians 22-8. Tyler Pace had 10 points (2G, 8A), while Caputo had a season high seven tallies on the night.

Saturday afternoon in New Westminster, the Salmonbellies snapped their 8 game losing streak with a 10-8 decision over the T-men. Nate Marken led the scoring with 1 goal and 3 assists, while Tony Cuzzuto stopped of 51 shots for his first win between the pipes this season.

Sunday evening in Victoria, the Shamrocks knocked off the Bellies 10-4 to keep pace with Ladner. Rylee Marsh had a pair of goals and assists to lead the Rocks, and Cody Cook turned aside 1st of 30 shots for his third win.

The scheduled game Saturday between Victoria and North Shore was postponed due to a lack of referees.
