Week 7 Wrap-Up

Week 7 features only two games. Wednesday night, the Timbermen visited the Shamrocks at Panorama Rec Centre and the teams came away with a rare 11–11 overtime tie. Nanaimo’s Grady Holmes forced the extra period with 1:46 left in regulation in a match that saw the T-men outshoot the hosts 61-43, with Colin Jeffrey solid between the Victoria pipes stopping 50 shots to preserve the draw. Adam Golia (2G,2A), Jackson Boyd (2G,2A) and Rylee Marsh (1G,3A) led Shamrocks scoring, with Andrew Miller (3G,1A) and Luke Ory (2G,2A) leading the Nanaimo charge.

Thursday night, the Indians hooked up with the Pioneers at Ladner Leisure Centre and dropped a 29-8 decision, with Tyler Pace (3G,10A) and James Rahe (6G,5A) topping scoring. Ladner fired 76 shots at the North Shore net while Christian Del Bianco and Matt Hills combined to stop 24 of 32 shots.

After seven weeks of play, Ladner's Tyler Pace continues to lead scoring with 69 points and 48 assists, Ladner's Haiden Dickson leads with 33 goals, and the Pioneers' Christian Del Bianco continues to lead in save percentage (0.890) and goals against average (4.32).
