Week 7 Wrap-Up

Week 7 of the 2026 West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association season has three games, starting Thursday June 25th when the North Shore Indians travelled to Ladner Leisure Centre and dropped a 16-13 decision to the Pioneers. Ladner never trailed in the high scoring contest, with the Indians' Adam Charalambides (7G, 3A) and Pioneers' Logan Schuss (4G, 5A) leading all scorers and the Indians' Owen Joseph stopping 60 of 76 shots and the Pioneers' Keegan Okino, in his first game of the season, stopping 44 of 57 shots.

Saturday June 27th, and undermanned New Westminster Salmonbellies dropped their 12th straight to the Timbermen at the Nanaimo Ice Centre by a score of 26-1. Nanaimo’s Darrin Wilson topped scorers with 2 goals and 7 assists with Peter Dubenski stopping 30 of 31 shots for his second win of the season.

The week wrapped when the Timbermen visited the Coquitlam Bandits at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex on Sunday June 28th with the hosts prevailing 10-4. The Bandits, who improved to 5-5-0 on the season, held leads of 3-1 and 8-2 after 20 and 40 minutes, and were led by Chase Hanson (3G, 1A) and Aidan Lalonde (2G, 2A) with Alex Buque, in his first start in the Coquitlam net, stopped 38 of 42 shots.
