Week 8 Results

Week 8 only featured two matches as it is the Canada Day long weekend. 

Wednesday night was an all-Island affair as the 6-4 Nanaimo Timbermen travelled down Highway 17 to face the 6-4 Shamrocks at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, with Victoria prevailing 8-5 to claim sole possession of second place. Jackson Boyd and Dane Sorensen (2G, 2A) led the attack with Cody Cook stopping 40 of 45 shots for his 4th win of the season.

Thursday night, the 9-1 Pioneers hosted the 1-8 New Westminster Salmonbellies and came away with a 19-1 decision to all but lock up first place in the standings. Shots favoured Ladner 57-15, with Tyler Pace leading scoring with 4 goals and 4 assists and Matt Hills turning aside 14 shots for his 3rd win in net.
